Dog story in the last PF Journal

Did anyone read the story starting on page 30 of the summer 2024 Pheasants Forever Journal. We must have 2 memberships where I work as we received 2 copies of the Journal this month. The gals brought the extra one to me. I made the mistake of reading a bit of it last week when we were slow one day....that was a mistake. That story will pull the tears out of you. Maybe more so if you have a dog and maybe more so if you have lever lost one. It is the "Bird Dog" issue. Some good reading, most not tear jerker stories.

I'll have to go find that article, although I try not to read sad stories about old dogs. I end up mourning dogs I never knew.

A man's dog has a terrible accident while hunting and the aftermath that follows.....that is enough.

So it might not have been a "man". It was a week or 2 since I read it.
