Was wondering if anyone here has ever produced there own dog food.... Have talked to a few people that make there own and to see the health of there dogs is amazing to me.... Met one guy that used deer meat combined with vegtables liver and other supplements.... Any input??
 
I made my dog his own food for about the first 6 months that i had him, i did notice his coat was a lot healthier and ate a lot more. But after a while it starts to eat you alive in the pocket! it started to cost me about 6 bucks a day to feed him, if you got the money i would say go for it, but if not dog food is the way to go :) I was feeding him boiled chicken with broccoli no spices or salt and about a half of cup of white rice mixed in. I did this twice a day for him.

Also beware of soggy stool!
