Dog has Second Seizure

My poor dog had a second seizure, same as the first: shaking, loss or major motor control, scared, no loss of consciousness, lasted about 10 minutes, fully back to normal at end of siezure. First time, vet exam and blood totally normal. Master scared.

Blood tetsts rarely indicate anything post seizures.
I've had 2 dogs with seizures and been around two others.
It is scary but can be lived with in many cases.
Onset can often be sensed by an owner and quiet and calm helps, ime.
Evaluation is tough.
Good luck.

I had a German Shepherd that had seizures when she was young, but as she got older they just stopped. She had like six of them. I took her to the vet and they gave me some medication for her, I can't remember what it's called but I bet I still have it if I checked.

I don't know if the medication really did anything, but after them she wouldn't leave my side and would whine a lot. She just seemed really scared.

At about two years old she just stopped.

She was a great dog. Still to this day when my wife's dog sees my German Shepherd's collar she'll sniff it and won't let any other dog near the collar.
