For those of you in need of a canine vet dentist/oral surgeon, I have found one that practices in the NW Arkansas and SW Kansas (Wichita) area. His name is Dr. Doug Winter. I met with him this morning because Whisky has some discoloration of his lower right canine tooth. It appears he hit it on something causing some internal damage. He now needs a root canal and a crown. Dr. Winter was very engaging, detailed in his assessment and explanation of the situation, and just a nice guy.

Good to know. I live in NW Arkansas. My 13 yr old Vizsla has had to have some teeth removed by our local vet but it is good to know there are other options.
