Hello Kansas City friends. Here is the opportunity to see the movie at the KC Library this Saturday. My friend Stan Trekell is also having a lunch prior to the movie. I wish I could attend, but can't. Some other good movies coming up at the KC Library. Check out the movie trailer linked at bottom.

This coming Saturday, March 1st, the downtown Kansas City, MO Central Public Library located at 14 W. 10th Street is hosting a FREE screening of the 1939 movie "Dodge City". Here is your opportunity to see this Hollywood classic on the BIG screen. The movie begins at 1:30 pm and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. You are cordially invited to meet up prior to the movie beginning at around 11:30 am for lunch with other DC ex-pats at John's Big Deck, a nearby sports bar located at 928 Wyandotte. Their website is http://www.johnsbigdeck.com If enough people express an interest in attending, JBD has a private party room we can use at no charge that will accommodate up to 75 people. So be sure to invite your other Dodge City friends, RSVP below in the comments section, and let?s get this party jump started! NOTE: There is plenty of free, off-street parking located immediately west of the library building in an underground garage which has designated spaces reserved for library patrons. Don't forget to have the library staff validate your parking ticket while attending this first-ever G.U.I.D.C. family reunion.
