Well, was out shooting my Mathews bow this weekend getting ready for some bull hunting down in the breaks when my bow decided to fracture a limb. Talked to Kevin at High line and he said it will be 7-10 days to get parts, sucks to be me...lol. I will still head down to Bonetrail this week and tag along with a few friends, do a little fishing , maybe some calling. Hopefully i will get a bull later on in the rifle season down near Big Timber, it was kind of what I was banking on anyways..lol. I also have a rifle cow tag for up this way in 631 and 630. But not the way to start off my big game hunting for the year. Spoke with a couple of guys who have taken a cow elk, but have not heard of any nice bulls being shot, maybe it is the warm dry weather, I have heard its been very quite down that way as far as calling is concerned. I suppose we will hunt close to the lake , figure the elk will be close to water I guess.....
