Remember that ND Deer Firearms Season opens today 11-08-24, runs through 11-24-24.
I can advise that south of Dix the birds have been hunted hard this year and as a consequence are really flushing wind now. A couple days ago I went out to throw trash in the dumpster and there was a rooster next to the driveway, probably 50 yds away. The second he saw me he was on a flat out sprint. He ran 100 yds or so and only then flushed and got the hell out of dodge.
Yesterday birds were flushing out of my food plot over 100 yds away, the moment my dogs and I came into view as we walked up to it...
