Dang Finger Pain

I'm gettin' old, no doubt about it. Rust forming here and there where well-oiled machinery once carried me smoothly everywhere.

A particular pain has been in my right index finger (I am right-handed). I rub and move it around but the pain is persistent.

I finally came up with:

Diagnosis: Rusty Trigger Finger Syndrome (RTFS).

Treatment Plan: Shoot the hell outa dove on September 1;
keep shooting as needed.

Whew. Man I'm glad I got that figured out -- without a doctor bill.

RTFS I'm SO suffering from this, I think you diagnosis is "spot-on". My poor damn trigger finger is knuckled up, looks like swollen up, and I though I had rheumatoid arthritis.

I will try your treatment plan with great expectations on September 1st, slamming a bunch of doves.

P.S. Can I sue you if this does not work????:D

I set the chair under the tree- 1/2 hour later I took 2 Britt's out and snugged them to the tree and sat with my OU- no shells- just to get me and the Britt's in the mood- 4 doves fly by- I stood up and swung- Britt's were cussing me out-

think the wife thinks there's more wrong than just a trigger finger- she didn't make me a snack

Of course you may sue me if treatment fails. Your damages would be . . . five bucks?

Well you could let the woman in your life kick ya in the groin real hard and then the fingure won't hurt so much for a while. Then just repeat as pain persists.:D

Does that work for you? LOL

For minor temporary relief see your local trap or skeet range operator, or better yet a good sporting clays course can work wonders.:D

it's been a year- they really get worked up when I pick up a gun

I like leaving the chair out a bit so the doves get used to it- sort of like these 40 or so have been arround for a while

instead of just waiting till opening- I wanted to see if the 2 youngsters would be 1/2 way calm- glad to say- besides them just about tearing the leash out of hand- they settled down to being leashed to the tree

we'll do it again maybe two times before opening

I was thinking more like a day afield w/ you would settle it "out of court." I want to know if you speak as well as you write and if the thoughts that you post on this site are "off the cuff" or if you really have to sit around for awhile to come up w/ your material. That's a big ugly sentence right there.
