Thank the man upstairs for bringing back the set aside program here in IOWA now all we can do is try to convince the farmers to get enrolled. Hopefully in a few years the pheasants and quail will rebound. Loss of habitat has killed the bird population here in central ia. I have been feeding a few birds all winter but it sounds like the DNR is going to try and put a stop to that in the near future. Lets hope not it sure does not seem to hurt anything and in winters like this year all the birds needed a little help.

Dnr in Iowa only helps animals that are able to make the quility of living in IA miserable. Look at how they protect the hog industry. They'de rather have the state smelling then have happy hunters. Got to stay #1 in hogs.
