Talked to the ole' man and he said all crops are out (have been for a bit) where he's at. He said the wheat sprouted consistently throughout their plantings as well:thumbsup: Only bad news for me is that they got 800 cattle in, that they plan to run on the milo stalks. He also said he saw about 20 roosters while cutting 1-40 acre milo strip, which is a LOT less than a "good" year, but not quite as bad as I expected. He did say that was the most he saw in any of his cuttings.
Strange feeling not going there for the opener, but I've always wanted to hunt around home on the opener, before everyone else busts up the quail
