Inspired by the same named thread on the South Dakota page, anyone been out west lately or have any insight on where the harvest is at?

Here you go. As of Oct 4. The area I hunt in East-Central is behind this. Soybeans have just started being harvested and almost no corn harvested other than a few that were picked. Crops in this area look terrible too.

Most all beans out and often fields already turned black

Heard soybeans love August rains and some really high yields to the south

Oct 6- Mankato area. Beans and corn slowly coming out. I would guess it’s around 25 to 30%

Oct 11- 50 to 60% of the crops are out around Mankato
