just saw that corn futures hit a 4 year low, a little under $ 4. for you out there that use the stuff to feed your mutt, prices should drop, if you believe that how ever, I have bridge to sell you. the other side is that while last year less corn was planted, more soybean was, so the weed patches probably stayed the same, but, maybe next year with a surplus of nearly everything, maybe, just maybe a few more pheasants will have a place to roam. anything to dream for a better future of bird hunting

corn yield was low last year but price was high so it evened out with the dry conditions. this year corn yield will be very high with a low price so it will be about the same as last year. North Central Kansas is looking really good right now.
