Colorado walk in acces interactive map.

Eddie,
That was me. I guess they must have started putting the WIA on it. I know there was BLM and STL. I did note that there were two that I know aren’t in this year... I wonder how often they update??

I don’t know how often they update but I use the onX maps and they don’t show any of the late walk-in access yet. I sent a email to them and asked when they would update and they said that Colorado had not finalized their areas yet.

Avenza maps app...works great with the geospatial maps the CPW puts out in pdf form

I found an error on the map, in the area I always hunt. I know the landowner, just called him, and he said he would run-off anyone that tried to hunt that parcel. He will call the game warden, and I just called CPW to get them to, hopefully, correct it.

In case you are going to the south half of Yuma County this season, the parcel shown at Vernon, which indicates the west half of the section that includes Vernon (Sec. 28, 1S 44W), that half-section, indicated to be wheat stubble (W), is not walk-in. I think it is likely corn stubble again, as that field has been corn for over 10 years. There will also be cattle on it, if it is corn stubble. Don't hunt that half-section.

Just an FYI that the atlas is not infallible.

Always seem to find a few errors.

Fyi...I just downloaded all this years maps, and the Avenza app now only lets you upload 3 maps at a time. :(

I guess i only use a couple at a time, so i guess if i need more, I'll have to switch back and forth.

You do need to be careful. It is pretty clear that it only counts if it is posted. Not many punishments worse than tresspassing while hunting or fishing... 5 year loss of privilege. Ick... Definitely not worth a few birds!
