Cold Morning

Started out hunting this morning with temperatures around -20 degrees windchill. Birds were very jumpy. Found most of our birds on tree lines and thick cattails. Saw over 100 pheasants but probably less then ten being roosters.

Mind if in ask what part of Iowa??? North Central or north western by chance???

Thinking of heading down tomorrow or Tuesday morning... Tuesday mite be best let birds settle after last WK end of season???

Thanks I'm heading that way tomorrow my 1st ever Iowa pheasant hunt hoping the few inches of snow they forecast helps em hold a little... Don't need the freezing rain/sleet hope weather man wrong again...

I'm going all public land route were u on private public or both???
