I have lived here my entire life and have never seen one and was curious if any of you fellow members have kicked any up.

Seen some wild birds around the Black canyon and N.W. of Grand Junction.
 
From best site for bird sighting information "Colorado Birding Society". They are so nice about providing detailed information their sighting. I use them for ptarmigan so I spend more time hunting and not just taking my shotgun for a walk...

Escalante Wildlife Area
East Walker Tract:
From Delta, travel 12.0 miles north on highway 50 to Escalante Canyon turnoff.
Drive west 4.0 miles southwest into Escalante Canyon.
Ranches in canyon attract Chukar, especially early morning and late evening.
 
Thanks guys i've hunted all over in gunny and have never seen any dont think we'll be hunting them this year.Heres another question for you fellow members we hate our cell phone service and will be changing soon looking for cell coverage that would be available in all of colorado any of you have this luxury and whose the provider.
