I saved up my pennies in my penny bank for the past few months and was waiting on a good deal on a Garmin Astro. A couple of days ago I dug up a sale at Cabelas on the Astro 320/DC40 for 399.99.

Ordered it on the 4th and it came to the door this afternoon. Of course I had to try it out so I collared up my 15 year old daughter and sent her outside to run around. LOL. It works but showed she was "treed" not far from house. So I yelled out the back door for her to leave the cat in the tree and get back to running!! LOL

Backing up a bit to earlier today, I took a trip over to Pro Built in Sugar Creek MO and bought a couple of new dog houses to replace two of my old ones. Got the doors to go on them as well.

If anyone is ever looking for a dog kennel or a dog house I highly recommend Pro Built. Heck of a nice guy, two man shop, family owned. I had bought earlier in the year 3 used pro-built kennels and they much nicer than what a guy can buy at Lowes or other discount places.
 
I 2nd that Gary is a great guy,I own both his houses and his kennels , he will bulit what ever your looking for and his quality cant be beat , my dogs love them . :cheers:
 
Went out and checked on them just a bit ago. Thought my oldest pointer died because her wouldn't come out. Stuck my hand inside with him and soon found out why he didn't want to come out. His house was warm as could be!
 
yea mine do the same thing they push the hey up infront of the opening and its so warm in there , although my wife thinks its too cold out ther for them and mine are in the house , lol im good with both that way i dont worry about them either , lol
 
I have one of the probuilt double boxes, the size that will allow a tonneau to roll over. It was great for my 50lb GSP, but it's a too small for my 70lb GSP. I've actually contemplated selling it since I don't use it. Now that I have a camper shell I probably won't use it much. It is a great box, I painted mine with a textured black rattle can.
