Last week we were hunting in Bruhl (sp) County and Charles Mix county and we did good... a couple short of our limit for three days. It wasnt as wet as I had heard but corn was still standing everywhere. The reason for my post is that I saw a Big Cat track in that area. It was pretty fresh. It was the first time I had seen one. I keep a slug in my pocket just in case...but I would have panicked if I had seen that dude. It was as big as the palm of my hand. Just thought I would pass that along. Doug:eek:

In 2006 my brother got tracked by a mountain lion in the badlands of ND! Scared the crap out of him for sure.

Nervous too

We hunted north of Mitchell Nov. 7-14. When we arrived, the farmer who hosts us said that there had been reports of a mountain lion in the area and that he heard "screaming" down by the river. It sure made me nervous walking the tall grass and the thickets. Worried about me and the dogs.
