Has anyone tried these areas yet? I'm from Pottawattamie county (won't even try here, theres virtually no birds) and I'm thinking about heading up towards Carroll county after seeing the roadside survey. I may have one other person with me, but here is the kicker, I won't have any dogs. I just want to make sure I at leas have a chance of seeing a bird or two.

Hunted Sac County today with lots of hens and few roosters. Tough conditions with lots of wind making it hard to get birds up
