Canadian snow melting time to train

Finally the snow is almost gone time to get some training in. Went to the live stock auction and got some pigeons Friday so I was ready for Saturady and Sunday. Dog worked well and winter garage training is paying off.

Looking good. Within another week or so we should have some decent woodcock flights in Southern Ontario. My buddy got into some this weekend around Stoney Creek so don't miss out putting your pup on them.
 
Yeah I got a few spots I go to up by my house that I will try out. Where are you from. I'm just outside of Brantford in Burford.

Thats right. The Holland river and it's surrounding lowland farms is great Woodcock cover. I have to drive 10 minutes to be into great doodle hunting. It rained all day yesterday and we lost a pile of snow, hardly any left on my lawn. By next weekend the woods should be bare and full of woodcock.
