Camo Facemask

Got a camo facemask after a couple of hens started spurting when they got close to me when I was hunting turkey two weeks ago. Still have my second spring tom to get so will see if the mask helps.

When I hunted pheasants w/o a dog I wore full camo including gloves, hat and a mask. It makes a big difference with all flocking birds if they're hunted hard.
I had two hen turkeys bust me when I was laying face down in the grass alongside a road on a wildlife area. The first thing they saw as they walked toward me was the bottoms of my Vibram soles.
The rest of me was facing away from them and completely hidden from their view. They started to make alarm putts and then screwed up their courage and ran past me about 5' away putting like crazy. After they passed they went back to making relaxed clucks.

I tell you those damn things can pick up the slightest movement as well. When I would take my daughter we would get busted all the time. Now this is in the forrest in the mountains of Colorado where there is tons of cover and they would bust us 100 yds out. Went to a pop up blind and she got her first bird. Had then come within 3 feet of the blind... Made me a believer!!
