Stopped in a local bar and grill in Alma, a little county seat town, for some food and drink after a long opening day in Nebraska. An ironsided gentleman and his son came in to eat. A big blue parrot was perched on the headrest of the gentleman's wheelchair. It was quite a sight. Turns out he is a local and his parrot is a service animal. The parrot also likes salted peanuts and can hold a single shelled peanut in his talon while he chews the one in his mouth. The parrot said "Thank you," when I gave him the peanuts. You just never know what you'll see out and about the country while hunting.
