We traveled to Mobridge last Thursday and returned Sunday (9-22). Used Hwy 10 to go west and returned on Hwy 20.
Saw one hen flying, and one dead bird on the road. Very windy on Sunday and traveled both day's in the middle of the day - not ideal bird watching times.
Lots of crops still up, although we saw some corn and beans combined in west- central part of the state.
