Big Bad Wolf

Hunters and trappers in Montana have taken over 170 so far this season, with the season ending last day of Feb.. though our's are a differnt species then the one shot in Kansas. I saw a post on craigslist here in MT for a wolve pelt taken this fall for $500.00 still needing tanning with no skull included. Hopefully if we harvest a few more, it will help rebuild the elk herds in parts of our state that wolves have damaged, though it will take time.
 
I thought I had heard about something like this in the area I deer hunt in. Must have been this incident.

Coyote hunters with dogs, trucks and 4-wheelers probably ran him down. After it snowed a couple guys in the place I hunt at were on snowmobiles chasing coyotes down for a week. They must have put a good dent in them.
