This motel made out quite well at my expense. I reserved two rooms for opening weekend. The full charges appeared on my credit card statement before the start date for the reservation. My friend had to back out and I wanted to move my reservation ahead two days. Called the motel and changes made, no problem, no comments, no warnings. When I arrived per my new reservation date, I was presented with a charge card document to sign. No problem I thought. Then I said something along the lines of "I assume you credited my card with the amount you charged for the prior reservations." Nope. And that was after she disclosed that she was fully booked up over the period of my old reservations. No refunds during hunting season, I was told for the first time. So the motel got double rent for the two rooms.
