Hi,

I'm new to the forum but I've run retrievers in UKC & AKC hunt tests since 93' and Springers in the AKC hunt tests & more recently Field Trials.

They're a great excuse for buying better hunting stuff since you get to use it more often.

Sure do (AKC, UKC). Do you? Agreed, it is the best thing besides hunting season. Like most others, I continue training right through hunting season on off days to keep the dogs sharp.

AKC field trials, It's a great time, I get down just like the next guy on a string of bad luck but a day later want to go back and try harder. But there is some luck needed and some politics that go along with anything I guess.
