Bad day!

My youngest daughter got married this past weekend and we have had several family members here from NC. Took my son and middle daughters boyfriend out yesterday, should have stayed home. Other than the 40mph wind, my 1 year old pup got cut and one of my males had a bad run-in with a porcupine! I am sure I have a wonderful vet bill waiting for me today. Has been a pretty successful season so far other than yesterday.

Sorry to hear of the mishaps with your dogs. I did a trip to NE several years ago and one of my dogs got into a porcupine AND tangled with barb wire on that trip. I fixed the dog up as best I could until I could get back home but yea that ended up being a real expensive trip.

What part of NE do you hunt? I try to get to the SW a couple time a year but have not been out yet.
