They really loved it, and the price was incredibly reasonable! For about the price of range fees, they got to burn up a lot of ammo and try a pile of guns and bows. And lunch, eye and ear protection, and a goodie bag.
There were five stations. Rifle, muzzleloader, handgun, archery, and shotgun. They got an hour at each station with instruction, demonstrations, and shooting time.
I was a little disapponted that the only station my wife didn't like was the shotgun. I have been trying for probably 15 years to get her to go out with me...

But she said the shotgun station was too much talking and showing, and not enough hands-on. She said she was still open to the idea of going back out with me and the hand trap to try it in a different environment.
But overall she said it was really fantastic. She couldn't wait to get home and show me her rifle and handgun targets. And I'm a little jealous because I've never fired a muzzleloader before, and she has now shot several calibers of rifles and handguns that I have never shot before.
I'm still really proud of her for trying something new and I know she really enjoyed herself so I'm still holding out hope that someday I might get her into the fields and woods with me... someday...
