i just won a garmin astro 220 dog tracking system . has anyone used this unit? I would like to get some pro and cons you had on this unit.. I would use it some for upland hunting put mostly when hunting coyotes with hounds here in Wi.. I also have a very bad sense of direction, so I hope it can help me get to my truck...

Yes.
All models good, all models have quirks inherent to the technology and stage of development.
I would buy again in a heartbeat and added a new collar when it became available....the new collar is an improved collar.
I never use the GPS as a stand alone...I'm sure that some do.
IMO, it is a superior unit for what it advertises.
Have fun with the Garmin....and relax.
