Anywhere to take a deer hide?

Is there someplace that takes deer hides? I got a buck and hate to let the leather just go to waste, I won't be using it for anything. Is there some place that accepts them locally? I know Theisons in Iowa takes them but haven't found anyplace here.

I read about a guy in Hugoton that was taking hides. They use them for leather projects for a veterans organization if I remember correctly. You might contact the folks at the Hugoton Hermes, the local paper. I'm sure they could give you the guys name.
