Anyone feed Purina Pro Plan and want a cheaper price in bulk?

I have found a place online that will sell Pro-Plan for 38.50 a bag with free shipping. Min of 24 bags tho. Wondering if there are 4 local to my area that would be interested in splitting a pallet?

Its from Midwest greyhound supply. 38.50 a bag with a min of 24 bags. Free shipping. I'd like to find 3 or 4 more to go in on a pallet. I feed about a bag a week is all. Save maybe 4-5 dollars a bag. Not much but every little bit counts. I think I paid 43 for my last bag.

I too am in the bag a week range (4 shorthairs). I'd probably take up to 12 bags as I don't want to chew up the savings driving to pick it up. I'm paying closer to $47 a bag except when I have a coupon. I figure I can drive a bit for $8 - $9 per bag. Just depends on how far.

Point!

Im probably not contributing much to this thread but Ive been ordering from them for 3 years or so down in Wichita.

Not sure exactly where you live, but in Wichita at least if I order at least 10 bags of food they deliver here once a month. They charge sales tax plus $5 shipping. Maybe on the shipping deal Im in on an older program or thats what they charge since I live in Wichita. Not sure.

Been ordering the Tuffy's gold. My buddy has 3 short hairs and a Mastif so he takes the bulk of it.

Anyways, never had a problem with them. Im not so sure you need to order a full pallet unless you live outside of a large metro area...ie KC, Topeka, etc as Im pretty sure theyd send a truck there to their regular customers at least once a month.

If you want the higher end of Tuffy's they have Nutrisource as well.

Ive never personally ordered through their website. Becky always calls me before they send a truck to Wichita for the month to see if I need anything. Maybe if you call them up you can get a smaller batch quantity.

Anyways Id highly recommend going that route if you have a person or two you can trust to pay you when the order ships. Or just see if you can get a 10 bag minimum and order for yourself.

I called them today. Just asked about the bulk discount and they said 24 bag minimum. Didn't ask about other shipments in the area.

OAP yes it's the performance food. 30/20

Fwiw, check out Petflow and chewy.com too. They don't charge shipping on orders over $49...I think. You can also set up automatic shipping. Come home from work and your dog food is sitting there waiting for ya!
Pretty handy!

I must have got in under their old rules. Im thinking their website wasnt capable of taking orders at the time I started with them. Just listed a generic list of some stuff they carried. Guess they changed their rules then.

Either way, they arent bad to deal with.

Both of those sites were well over 50 dollars a bag. 53 and 57 I believe. So they are making up the free shipping that way.
