Any Reports from SE

If you see any pheasants when you are out dove hunting would you please report it back here. I know the NE has a lot of birds this year and I've seen the rains go through the SE Corner on a fairly regular basis so I'm wondering what the conditions there are like. Thanks
 
UHHHHH...fire? I don't think so. Britboy--you just want to keep them all to yourself! Word from Kansas is there are a lot of birds this year and that includes right up to the southwestern edge of Kansas. I don't believe all the birds are holding just on the other side of the line!
 
Traveled the southeastern corner extensively this past week.

Even though there is MUCH more green and overall cover than I have seen in 5 years, VERY few birds were found at all.

Did see a few though, and that alone is far more than I had encountered in many a year!
 
One of the highlights, or lowlights, depending on how you think about it. ...was seeing a quick glimpse of a Lesser Prairie Chicken! ...one of only 62 that are believed to be left in Colorado!
