I've been hunting the NW for over 15 years. Wondering what the harvest reoprt is like. We usually hunt a lot of milo stubble, my sources say it might be possible if the rain stops. Being from out of state and on the east coast I do not get to see what is happening in the area. This forum has been the best to keep up to date and keep the blood pumpin' until opening weekend.

Talked my friend from Hays and the beans are cut and the wheat is in. Milo has to dry before it can be cut. Ground is very wet and they may get an inch of rain this week. I am going to plan on the Milo being in for the opener, just like last year.

I think generally the west side of the state is wet and it doesn't appear that a long dry spell is near. My gut feeling is that we are starting into a wet winter. I think the latest we every cut milo was March. Just saying, but I hope we get some dry weather and the rest of the crops can be harvested.
