I'm a grain farmer, and turkey farmer in NW IA.
I'm more interested in the restoration of habitat, and breaking ground for new habitat for pheasants, than I actually am in hunting them. I grew up hunting pheasants, and the "newness" or "coolness" of it all wore off quite a few years ago.
Plus, I enjoy trapping coyotes and raccoons, and other critters during the nice weather we get in November.
I imagine I kill quite a few nest robbing skunks, opposums, raccoons, mink, coyotes, etc. during my trapping pursuits.
Anyways, just saying hello.
