This was the most challenging upland bird hunt I have ever experienced. Cold winds exceeded 40 mph throughout the day. There were a few times when I thought I was going to fall over.
We were fortunate to witness birds throughout our 12 miles of walking, but they were tough to shoot when they flushed. I am thankful that Echo and I were able to take advantage of the few opportunities that were presented to us.
All hulls were recovered. I even found 2 extra.
