70 year old kid!

I live in Clay and I'll speak for the public land south of Hawley as that is where most of the bird hunting takes place. I'll tell you just as it is...its getting the crap hunted out of it! Most days its a steady influx of vehicals. One leaves and two more show up. To close to Fargo/Moorhead is most likely the problem combined with the fact that this area is loaded with public land and holds most of the bird habitat for 3 counties. Only bright spot is there is still quite abit of corn left standing. It wasnt bad earlier but ever since Thanksgiving its been nuts. We went out Thanksgiving day and there was so much shooting it literally sounded like deer season, and there were 3 or 4 cars parked at every wildlife area. They literally have worn paths around all the cover. I hate it but its all I have right now. I'm just glad I have a darn good dog, without her I'd be eating turkey.
