The only pieces of wood are the running boards in front of the all aluminum boxes. These boards are pressure treated and then they were painted. Two boards on each side of trailer. These boards are for the dogs to jump up on so they can get in their boxes in the trailer. Works great.

The box is constructed of factory painted insulated aluminum.

The box dimensions are as follow:

Front Boxes: Depth from outside to divider wall in middle: 28.5"
Front to Back of box: 31.5"
Tall: 25"

Middle Box: Side to Side:57" No divider wall in the middle boxes. Great for storage and or larger dogs.
Front to back: 32"
Tall 25"
Rear Depth from outside to divider wall 28.5" 31.5 S to S. 25" Tall
