Hunted this past week in the -17 to -9 range. Having the right layers makes all the difference. Plus toe and hand warmers. I was hoping the cold with help the birds hold but they still flushed super wild.
Thanks, After talking to some biologist I think it will be worth the extra drive time. I have lots of pins dropped on the ONX just have to drive them and see what actually has cover and what has been grazed or hayed into oblivion.
Thanks for the reply's. I think I will go with the Orvis, for the money it seems like a good vest. I like that it can hold some weight as I tend to be an over packer and have lots of water, snacks and gear, when ever I leave the truck.
