    Lab guys sorry but....

I hunted some strip pits in 60 ft deep water on a -5 degree day. It was the last of the water to freeze, rivers were froze, marshes froze, etc. My labrador hunted just like it was 60 degrees. We hunted about 1.5 hours that day before we shot a limit of mallards. That was right before...

    Which Benelli Ultralight?

Looking at Benelli's web site, the Ultra Light has been replaced with the Montefeltro Ultra Light. 5.3 lbs for the 20 gauge with a 24 inch barrel and a $1949 MSRP

    Which Benelli Ultralight?

The new Montefeltro is a much better gun. Just as light, a much slimmer feel, improved inertia system, and less recoil. And probably a $100 or so less.

    Browning 20ga A5

To be honest I don't know how many I have. In the last 5 years I have added an A5 Sweet 16, Benelli Monte 20, Benelli New Monte 12, Browning 12 gauge Maxus II wicked wing, and a Retay Gordion which I sold. Going to be adding the new Browning 20. Of all those new guns the Browning Maxus II is...

    Browning 20ga A5

Totally different guns. A carbon fiber rib, 3 shot capacity, felt recoil, a bolt that is known for the benelli click are what the UL is known for. Not to mention that it has been discontinued. Browning has 5 shot capacity, humpback reciever, improved bolt, better recoil pad, speed loading...

    Browning 20ga A5

All I did was mention that I like to consider the weight of the gun loaded vs unloaded and off it went. And I was talking to and quoted Dakotazeb. It wasn't directed to Erirb or KE.

    Browning 20ga A5

Most of us do. I wish I would have kept records back in the late 70's, 80's, 90's, etc on how many birds I shot each year. I started in 2008. Since that time I have shot 423 roosters in Kansas alone. Several triples. I have also shot many doubles where I needed all 5 shells to finish off a...

    Browning 20ga A5

You're the one that started bringing up waterfowl hunting, not me. I was talking about a gun, carrying it hunting upland game. My bad, I thought there were 50 states. I didn't chastise anyone. Just reminded you that we are talking about a walnut 20 gauge, not a waterfowl gun. It will be a...

    Browning 20ga A5

Your list contains many states that allow 5 shots for upland game. Just list the one that limit to 3 for all species.

Well we are talking about this one.

    Browning 20ga A5

Upland hunters, its an upland gun. Pheasant, quail, grouse, etc. That is the people who will be carrying this gun. With 5 in the gun and 20 in the vest, 7.5 ounces according to my grain scale 20 vs 12. So about a 1/2 pound. Didn't have 16 gauge to weigh.
