Got back from a 5 day hunt. Hunted ONLY public land in NE part of the state (Brown County). Bird number were WAY down. Saw less than 40 birds (hens & roosters) total while in the state. This includes scouting while driving in the truck (a.m before shooting hours) and boots on the ground...
