Will be headed out to hunt December 8th-12th. Lodging is in Webster and branch out from there. How were the conditions and how much did/is this storm dumping? Thanks for any info!!

Looking at heading out from Wisconsin at the end of this month into the 1st week in January.....last year at that time I stayed in Bowdle and ventured from there. I've stayed in Hosmer and Hecla hunting near those places on previous trips, but not late season. Looking for thoughts/lodging ideas...

1/2 - Started on a GPA. Saw a lot of birds on this property, would estimate in the 150 number. Our shooting was sub par on the birds that held. Snow softened up just enough to not be too noisy with the sun, but the ice that was still coating vegetation made it difficult to get around quietly...
