Just got a new A5 Sweet 16. The neutral shim is preinstalled. I know fitting it is the best way to determine what my needs are, but wanted to see what the consensus was out there. Just shoot it neutral or put in the cast off shim? Whats you preference and why?

I have an Ithaca model 37 16 ga with a fixed mod choke. I'm going to pattern it, but was wondering if anyone else had and what their experience was. When I bought it I was told to expect more of a IC pattern with that choke. Hoping that isn't the case. I want to use it on pheasants next year.

Is it a must to be high brass? I bought some B&P #6 15/16 oz loads rated at 1300 FPS, but when I get them, they aren’t high brass. Not sure it matters that much if they really hit 1300 FPS. I guess what I’m asking those with experience is, would you use them?

for those that use a 28 gauge for pheasant, what choke do you use? I’ve always used LM and M in my 20. Do you go tighter when you use a 28?

I’m going to SD for the first time in October. I have a new to me Ithaca SxS in 20 ga. It is fixed IC and M chokes. Will it work, or should I leave it at home and take my 20 ga Benelli with a M or IM choke? Probably taking my Ithaca 16 ga Mod 37 with mod choke too.
