Dang it's Hot down here. 117 today and 120 and above for the rest of the weekend. You guy having this kind of HEAT or what. There is not enough Beer to put out the fire, and go to work the next day.:D

I saw the first quail chicks of the year, today near casa grande. mom leading 10 little fuzzball with pop bring up the rear. Should be a good year.:)

Well, I have not been on Uph much of late. Quail Forever stuff has been keeping me hopping. We just completed a 4 day event at the ISE, in phx. It was a big boon for my Chapter. We sold Hats, and memberships, gained new members, and board members. The Quail calls that we made out of close pins...

Well Quail season has come to an end for the year. Strange year for shure, time to clean up the gear, and find out what to do with free time. Lets see yote blasting, bobcat calling, Javy hunting, Fishing or honey do list. Bet you can't guess which on has to be done 1st. LOL:D:cheers:

Started raining last night and has not stopped yet. Winter rains are so welcome. If this keeps up Quail numbers should be fantastic next year. Hope some of this storm makes it to the plains states.:thumbsup:

Can anyone supply a link to a list of guns being banned by, the bill being introduced by CA sen. Feinstein??? I'd shure like to see it.:)

House passed a bill to stop the Government from being paid until they pass a budget. ABOUT DAMN TIME. :)

Anyone getting out this weekend for birds? I'm going to chase the quail, around the Tucson area, hoping for better numbers then here in cental Az. We have had some rain of late and much cooler weather. I'm hoping this will covey them up into much larger coveys.:)

Thanks Moe, It's been a year or two since I, got one. I think you are right. I got one for leaving a post that shadow got booted/ banned on. I don't know what that was all about. If someone will tel me how to pass them out. I will.:)

Went out today and chased Quail. Not a great day. Walked 6+ miles and only came home with one. The darn birds are acting like late season birds. Flushing at 60 yard, or holding in thick brush,and flushing when you are past them. Lots of pairs, small coveys, and singles. Strange year so far...

Anybody know what happened to wildcat? I have not seen him on the forums for a very long time. I've seen no posts from him. ????????

Well got out for a couple hours on Oct 5, opening day. We got into the birds right out of the truck. First covey flush not 15 yards out from our parking spot. Small covey of five birds. We passed on shooting them. Next flushed several pairs, that were calling, on all sides of us. No shots fired...
