My 4 year old female has almost less hair than a lab. She picks up a few burrs in her tail, that's about it. Just MACHed her last weekend so she has multiple talents.

I think Golden Boy has a couple litters in the works. My field bred Goldens are small short coated and wirery. My young female tops out just over 40 pounds and my males are around 50. Most show and pet Goldens add 20 to 30 pounds on them.

I’ve taught my dogs to drink out of a disposable squirt water bottle. The 16 or 20 oz size. When they get thirsty in the field they come up and I squirt it down their throats. No waste and off they go. I have water jugs and bowls at the truck but the squirt bottles keep them going for a long time.

I haven’t hunted waterfowl in years, but when I did and used a pump or an auto I did miss some shells that I couldn’t find. Now with a double there are very few I miss and when I do it is usually in snow.

Totally agree. When I was younger and played in racquetball tournaments I seldom drank,but that was a couple knee surgeries ago. Now that the only competitive sport I do is dog agility and I can handle a beer the night before. None for the dog of course I do have some standards.
