    New Shotgun

Watched few seemed the important areas to oil were the rails. Did you ever completely strip the gun down to clean it?

    New Shotgun

Just sold my Citori 725 field, I've had that gun since 2014. Idk what it is but i could never shoot it well the stacked barrels kept throwing me off and I didn't have enough time on my hands to invest in practicing to figure it out. Used the money I received from selling it to purchase a Fabarm...

    Bird Dog Bunkhouse ***2024***

Going to guess the location isn’t shared because no one wants a bunch of people showing up to hunt the areas that you worked hard to find yourself

    Citori 725 Field

Looking at selling my citori. It has 28” barrel with less than 500 rounds through it. Gun is in good shape has some light handling marks from hunting mainly on the underside of the butt. Comes with choke wrench, factory chokes (imp cyl, mod, full), Turlock precision hunter (imp cyl, mod, and...

Looking to add a gsp in the future

Yea 3,000 is more than I would be willing to spend 2,000 is probably my cap. Kind of have it narrowed down between shining star kennels, thunder head, and grouse point. I am a bit intimidated about the whole requirement to test the dog but could see myself enjoying it.

Looking to add a gsp in the future

I mean I get it every dog is a gamble you're not guaranteed anything. Some of these breeders are charging insane amounts. But I imagine its very costly to operate and become a reputable breeders. I try to have a cap on what I would spend on purchasing a dog because in the end that's only a...

Looking to add a gsp in the future

Well shit they must’ve just raised it because it used to be $2500. Wasn’t really trying to go above that but we’ll see. Like I said Gus is 8 so figured by the time he’s 10 I’d get my name down somewhere. Was just trying to see if I was missing a good breeder in my area

Looking to add a gsp in the future

Yea for the most part haha still leaning towards Highfire. Their dogs look really good and have some great lines. I'm sure within the next year or so I'll put a deposit down.

Looking to add a gsp in the future

currently have a pointing lab that will be 8 in June. I’m starting to do my research now for my next dog. I know I want a gsp. I’ve hunted with them for years and it fits my style of hunting. I’m located in Illinois suburbs outside of Chicago looking at breeders in Iowa Wisconsin and obviously...

    Recovery

Gus just turned 6, last year was the first time heading out to South Dakota. Hunted 3 days which is the most that he has done so I think the combination of the amount of days in a row hunting and the warm weather may have taken a good chunk of his energy. First day it was 60 and the final 2...
