Anyone live or hunt around Beaver City? I may have an opportunity to hunt private land close to there next year. I have English pointers and would like to be where there are quail. I have been to SD and Kansas on public land, but may go to Nebraska next time.

Anybody hunted Elk county lately? It has been a few years, but I remember it being good looking quail habitat. Large WIHAs and we found a few coveys. I was on private ground in Woodson county in 2006 and did real well, but didn't have a chance to get down to Elk county.
