In the mid 90's my vizsla Lucy and gsp Ethel locked up, then a striped tail went up, they both were close. Not uncommon however this happened again the next weekend, Lucy was so bad she puked a couple times. The smell was haunting us for weeks!
I have noticed it this fall in SE Iowa, maybe they like the nice weather we are having. It seems they like nice/warmer temps with little wind when they lite up. I like to listen to them as much as the bobwhites in the summer.
Has anyone planted this for a food plot for dove and pheasant? Drill or broadcast? Any herbicides or fertilizer? We are in Iowa and was thinking to use it in our rotation.
Thanks
