I posted on the actual page and I feel this page is probably more appropriate. I'm trying to get a group together to head up that way(first time for all of us). Do these spots fill up pretty fast? If the group falls through I may just come up solo with the dog anyway...

As far as the high costs go, I figure I got room for 5 in my truck, if your ass is sitting in one you're paying your 1/5 of the fuel bill like everyone else. Or cover some other cost to pull your weight.

Thinking this might be my first year finally. And thinking of buying a diesel when everyone starts selling them due to the high prices. I guess you can say i don't let the prices influence my decisions lol!

That jbweld water stuff is really good. I used it to seal a spot on my pool. It was even wet when I did it and it's held for 3 or 4 years now....

Yes and no. Mine showed the dog distance but it also tracked the time we spent between fields too. I don't really wanna go through the hassle of disconnecting between each field so I just deal with it. If someone knows a way to remedy that I'm all ears!!

And that may well just have to happen 🤣

Do you have the explore app? Down at the bottom it's the third tab over, looks like a watch and a remote. If you click that it will show what is connected, if there is nothing there's a "+" in the top right corner, you should be able to find it there.

The Garmin app is not very user friendly to be honest. It's definitely better than some others but can be pretty clunky to work your way through.

Yeah mine does the drive time and everything. Even did it from when we left the house and drove for 4 hours with the collar turned off. I wish I could isolate it as well too!

Do you have you 550+ connected to the explore app? And have sync turned on? Mine just shows up automatically. Pretty fun to compare my walk vs my dog at the end of a long day!

I'm late to this conversation but definitely interested. I'm not too far from bois d'arc(down around Neosho), me and my shorthair hunted it this year with no luck at all. I envy all the older guys that got to enjoy quail in the good ol days, at 36 I'm fortunate to have seen a few good years on...

They go on sale all the time. I got my bare tool fan for either 59 or 79. I can't remember. Best money I ever spent, I drag thing everywhere come summer time!!
