Actually hunting is very cheap. It cost much more to play golf. You don't use the golf course for free neither should you use public land free. You have to have a park pass to fish the same should go for hunting.

None of my issues are with the KDWP they are with the legislature and the commissioners to a degree. I know your hands are tied as are all of the other KDWP workers. It is just a mess all the way around without any solution other than a total reset going back to the past which won't happen...

2.4 in the gauge at 4:15 this afternoon. It has stopped for now. 30 miles east there was more rain than we received here.

At 5:30 this morning the gauge read 2.00 on the nose. Best rain since 2022 and it is still misting and lightly raining. Won't be hunting for a while now but let it keep raining.

1.30 inches and a slow soaker. Supposed to continue through the nite and again tomorrow. Best rain we have had in over a year.
