While heated gloves work (kind of) I now use heated glove-liners with a stretch glove over the top. This seems to work better than the heated gloves that are a bit bulky. The challenge is to find gloves that stretch over the liners...

Interesting video, Brent. For me, a real challenge when ditch hunting is keeping the dog from wandering into public land. Ace seems to know the boundaries! Observation on the first part of the video: rooster that fails to fly sometimes isn't a bird but a critter - I usually call the dog off...

G. Hour: I don't recall reading about how you trained Sage. She's an amazing dog,intense, but seems to look at you while in hot pursuit. If you could, tell us about the training that Sage went through...or perhaps Sage just a natural! Thanks!

Have had Outdoor Research gaiters for years - well built and have lasted a long time. I did buy an off brand on Amazon and they fell apart after a couple of seasons: Velcro came loose (snaps are a better idea) and the portion that wraps around the boot had to be redone.
