28th Annual Trip To South Dakota

What is your goldens diagnosis? If caught early she might have a more positive prognosis and enjoy one more trip. God bless. Four goldens in our family have succumbed to cancer. I have walked in your shoes.

    Pressure?

Used to hunt NC Kansas, we drove down on opening Sunday and hunted for four days. Almost never bumped into another bird hunter. If we did they were interested in quail and not pheasants(messed up their quail dogs). There was not much for WIHA up near the Nebraska border. Keep expectations...

    Rex Specs- Again

Good for abrasions, especially around the edge of the pads. Labs especially seem prone to foot issues. Very dry on the prairie this year, ground feels like concrete. Mushers Secret comes in all sizes, good stuff from Canada.

    Man, how tough are dogs

I always gave my older dogs the light cover. Avoid jumping down from the truck and use some canine NSAIDS. Having three knee replacements, I can tell you level ground is no problem. Just back from the prairie and walking 6-10 miles per day was no problem. But carry a car battery up two...

    Rex Specs- Again

Apply Musher’s secret often. In a pinch use Chapstick, carry two in your vest’s shell holder.
